Hi everyone, I’m Abby! I’m new on the Scaniverse team and am excited to invite you to join the fun and capture the holiday spirit in 3D! Every day from December 1st to 24th, we’ll have a new challenge to inspire your scans.
How to participate:
- Scan: Use the Scaniverse app to capture 3D photos of festive scenes and objects, according to the daily prompts shared on the blog and Instagram.
- Share: Post your 3D photos to the Scaniverse Map and share the link to each day’s community forum post.
- Win: Every day you participate, you’ll be entered into a weekly sweepstakes to win $50 prizes! There will be a special $500 drawing for those that completed all 24 challenges.

I was looking forward to the December Scaniverse event. But due to the time difference, I can’t participate in the December 1st post. Would you please change it so that instead of 1st to 24th, people who participate every day from the 2nd to the 24th will have a chance to win the $500 big prize?
The current:
It’s 7pm on December 1st in London. It’s pitch black. It is 4am in Japan. It is pitch dark. I have to go to work at sunrise.
If the condition for the big prize is to participate every day, people who live in countries with a different time zone are at a disadvantage. I’m so sad that I can’t participate in a special $500 drawing…
Oh! To clarify, you don’t have to do it on the day. Just that’s the day when we suggest!

Hi there, look forward to seeing your entries! No problem at all, just complete all 24 challenges by the end of December 24th and we’ll enter you for the $500 sweepstakes. Each challenge doesn’t have to take place on the exact day.
