YUMEMITAI
Public art installed in Umekita Park, which opened this September. It is the work of Ram Katzir, a native of Israel who now works mainly in the Netherlands. The image of people connected by clouds symbolically expresses the interaction that occurs between visitors to the park, which turns into innovation.
いのちの木
Created by contemporary artist Natsumi Tomita from scrap wood provided by Osaka Metro and Whity Umeda. This work is installed in the bar zone NOMOKA of WhityUmeda, an underground shopping mall in Umeda, Osaka.
Serendipity
It is the work of Kate Thomson, a native of Scotland who specializes in creations using white marble. The bench is designed in a shape that responds to the ridges and curves of the park, and its distinctive shape allows users to sit in any way they wish.
