I was wondering if there are any people who know a way to tidy up the mesh that comes out of the scaniverse m mesh export method, and tidy up the way the texture mapping is done.
If anyone has had a look at the texture map from exported OBJs it’s many small pieces which makes it hard to manually edit or paint in photoshop. I realize this is maybe more of a subject for a blender forum, and I have asked that too. I’m notice that there is a mesh simplification option in the settings for the mesh export so I wondered whether Niatic are planning to expand or improve on that area for example for creating better topology using quads instead of triangles, because if they can simplify a mesh, maybe they can also tidy up a mesh?? Please, prey please? With a cherry on top ! (two days in, manually cleaning and modifying a character scan in Blender).
