You can view splats and take measurements directly on-device. You can post them to Scaniverse where they can be viewed in 3D by others even if they don’t have the Scaniverse app. You can create videos with dynamic motion to share to social media. You can also export the model in PLY format for use with other Gaussian Splatting viewers and tools. We are currently working on the ability to crop and edit splats, just like you can do with meshes today. Gaussian splatting a very new technology, but there are already a variety of plugins that can be used with game engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine, as well as 3D modeling software like Blender.
