FEEDBACK: scans appear smaller than possibly intended

Scans appear around 3/4ths the size of real life. I’m at head level with standing scanned people when sitting (after aligning the real and scanned floors). I’d love to see scans at true-to-life scale if possible

Is this a consistent issue that you’re experiencing? What phone are you capturing with?

The scale of a splat is determined while you’re capturing with your phone’s AR capabilities, so technically, every splat should be 1:1 scale. I’d be happy to investigate this further.

I’m using an iPhone SE (3rd generation). I’ve checked this across several of my scans, as well as scans by other people, and it seems consistent.

If I put my controller on the floor and move vertically so that the scanned ground meets the controller and I stand, I tower above any captured people in the scene and am head-level with them when sitting.
