The “Enhance” button in Scaniverse, when used after a Gaussian splat capture, performs additional training on the model to improve its quality. Specifically, it extends the splat training time beyond the initial processing, typically in 1-minute intervals, to achieve higher detail and better visual results. This additional training helps refine the model, making it more accurate and photorealistic by optimizing the representation of lighting, transparency, and reflections for example.

I feel that Scaniverse version 4.01 is more expressive for the first Processing Scan compared to version 4.0 I will try Enhancing Scan if I want to make it more photorealistic. Thank you very much for your reply.

After enhancing, the button is still “available” for reuse - although i cannot see that it changed anything does multiple use of this button on one splat make it better with each subsequent enhancement? My old Galaxy S23 Ultra is much slower at processing than the stated few minutes per splat as mentioned - so i tend to get impatient.
