after changing my original lightship login from my gmail address to a different one I am now trying to activate the scaniverse app and associate with my google account, but logging into scaniverse app with the google account sets something spinning and it never finishes logging it. I can’t login to scaniverse with my old lightship email and password nor created a new account associated with my ingress account. (note I can login to this page with my google account, so that seems to work) but the app itself seems to get confused.
Device S22 Ultra (US model) with 256GB ram.
cache and data cleared seemed to work ok.
I am suspecting that earlier account created with the gmail used for this google account is the issue.
Issue first encountered around March or April 2025 with the announcement that Niantic Spatial was being spun out, and sign-in with google account was available.
(note that only scaniverse seems to be affected. Ingress, and Mission Creator and Intel all work OK at this time.

Thanks for reporting this. To clarify, based on what I read, it seems that you were able to resolve the issue yourself by clearing the cache and data correct? You’re no longer experiencing this issue?
