VPS activated but fail to scan out sth in Ingress on specific portals

Include the following details while filing a bug report (edit as applicable):

  • Description of the issue: on 2 particular portals which VPS activated in the latest update of data on Ingress game, I always couldn’t scan out the 3D glyphs image in the Overclock process, but succeeded on other portals. Even rebooting Ingress Prime couldn’t help. It’s said that by a friend that the data what I scanned and produced in the specific period of Scaniverse beta version would be data pollution into the integrity of 3D data of portals. I’m not sure whether it is. Are Scaniverse team researching for resolving this problem?
  • Otherwise it there any solution to erase the 3D data of specific portals and I rescan at least 5 times of clear scanning? Though it spends quite a lot of time.

I found out that the only way out of this is to ask some other person to scan the portals with a different device in some other time than you did, (2 different time slots - for example 3 scans in the morning and 3 more at noon) and add some more yourself, then request to reactivate.
You can also check the data of your location at Niantic Lightship, - there you see what was scanned (approx.)

This is true, there were techincal issues with android app that produced corrupted scans. We don’t know if Niantic found a way to purge those.
