It often happens to me that while uploading a scan to map I get “upload error”, but if I instead select “share link”, it is properly uploaded, and the link is created; then if I try again uploading to map, it fails again. But the splat is ALREADY on the server!
Why does it happen?
Can I mark as “public” a splat after uploading it by “share link” button?
Hello,
Are you getting any other information on the error message or just “upload error”? Also, may I know the scan you’re attempting to upload?
I have the same problem. Can share my scans as unlisted, but can’t post them on map, even if they have location information
I was able to upload splats to the map if I post immediately after processing. I don’t know why some of my already processed scans can’t be uploaded to the map.
For me, it just seems completely random. I’m on the Android app and I’ve given up trying to document the specifics, but I’ve had many of my scans fail to upload to either the map or link and there is no way of knowing why. It’s frustrating, but I’m hoping a new version will be more stable and predictable.
Hello,
We’ve recently released version 5.0 of Scaniverse. Please update if you haven’t and give scanning/ uploading a try We’ve addressed some issues with the scanning process and continue working one some other pain points. Please let me know if any issues still persist so that I can relay it back to our developers
